Artist Statement: The imagery in Exodus came to me in a dream I had in 2006. This was at the height of the exodus from Darfur and my white dream made sense to me because of the genocide happening in Sudan.  In 2015 there are an estimated 150 million refugees and internationally displaced people worldwide, which is the highest number since WWII. 
Regardless of how they arrive in a country and for what purpose, these people must be given a chance for a new life where they can live safely.
